Construct Roads Under the Ground

Select [Height] in the settings of height bar. Hover the cursor over the height bar gauge, and press × button and the up or down directional buttons / left-click / use the scroll wheel to construct roads under the ground.
If you change the height while constructing roads and connect roads at the different heights, pitched roads will be constructed automatically.

【Open Height Bar】
To open the height bar, press × button / left-click on the second right icon in the side menu in the top right area of the screen.

Open Simplified Height Bar

Press □ button or [Ctrl] while keeping [Rail] menu open to show the simplified height bar. By doing this, you can lower the height of construction to under the ground. Then construct roads under the ground in the same way as using the height bar above the ground.
