About “Neo ATLAS 1469”
We shall make our very own world map!
It is 15th century Europe, at the height of age of discovery. Back when the very shape of the world was still unclear, and believed to be flat.
Searching for what lies at the ends of the Earth, collecting information about the world, creating their very own world map – but only the finest Admirals may take off on these adventures.
The player is a trader in Lisbon, Portugal, who charters a boat to take on the massive venture of creating a world map. Are you ready to reveal the true shape of the world?

“New World Exploration Simulation”
The player, a trader, listens to the reports of Admirals returned from their explorations, and uses it as a basis for creating a map.
The reports from these Admirals range vastly, from the authentic to somewhat dubious tales of monsters. But the map drawn by the player will only depict the information approved by the player. Thus, depending on what the player approves or disapproves, the shape of the world can change greatly.
Perhaps the Americas will not exist, while Atlantis and Mu take their place on the map. The only finished map of the world will be a “subjective world’ that reflects the values of the player, and one where only that which is approved by the player becomes the truth.
Elements of Map-making
Exploration is the most valuable element for making a world map.
Players will employ fine Admirals, having them gather crews and explore unknown waters, then create maps based on whether they approve of the reports given upon their return. You may also dispatch admirals to survey places that have caught your attention, such as rumors of pyramids in far-off lands.
The key will be working out the abilities of your Admirals and using them effectively according to each situation.
Upgrade Ships and Sail the Seas with Ease!
A ship is a very valuable element for both exploring the seas and trading. By finding various technical books, you can upgrade your ship according to the diagrams inside. There are also some ships that can only be obtained as items.
It costs a very large amount to employ Admirals and maintain crews. Therefore, you must trade and make use of the cities discovered on your explorations and the products they manufacture there.
This was a time where spices like black pepper were considered more valuable than gold. Perhaps you may discover even more precious goods during your explorations. In other words, you can build a massive fortune depending on the trade routes you create!
Create Products and Stimulate Trade!
You can create finished goods depending on the combination of products you trade. Finished goods you create can even sometimes go on to create further goods. This is a chance to flex your trading skills.
The world is full of mysteries, and you’ll encounter quest after quest, episode after episode as you explore. Have your Admirals survey ruins and solve their mysteries.
You might discover unfamiliar creatures and travel to unexplored lands. It seems there are also some mysteries that need special items, or that cannot be solved without a specific Admiral.
Example Quest: Seek the Land of Gold
Another request to the trading firm that has earned the King of Portugal’s trust. The request is to find the legendary Land of Gold said to be at the ends of the East. Should you head east, going around the southern tip of Africa and through India to get there safely? Or do you trust that the world is round and head West for a shortcut?
